Established in London in 2010, Opilio Executive are a boutique executive search specialist in the digital sector, assisting clients with interim management and permanent senior-level appointments. With wide personal networks and connections, the team members focus on assisting organisations to identify, attract and hire the most qualified individuals. After DWH successfully refreshed the look and feel for the recruitment arm of the business earlier in the year, the executive team decided that it was now time to revamp their marketing collateral.

Brand Identity

When we met with the team, we discussed the USPs of the executive service to better inform our marketing approach. We identified that Opilio offer customised, integrated, research-based executive search and leadership services within the digital sector. We then created a new proposition statement to concisely summarise this service as: “Leaders in digital search and selection.” For the divisions, we refined the “Best in…” messaging to specifically target the CEO/COO level.

As London is the hub for the executive team, we felt that the tone of voice and visual language needed to have a high-end, professional feel to convey the level of experience and judgement of the service. To do this, we introduced photography that reflected the city, the people at executive level, and the office environments in which they work


As with the recruitment website, we worked in-house with the Opilio team during the design phase of the executive site. We took what worked well on the recruitment project, such as the layout, and refined this to give it a more executive feel. This included introducing the photography style and toning down the colour palette to give it a cool, yet professional quality. To differentiate the look from the recruitment site, we changed the primary colour to the executive blue. We then rolled out the look and feel to Opilio’s other digital platforms, including their social media and email marketing campaigns

Print Marketing

On the print side, we created a new set of brochures to support the executive recruitment packs that are sent out to Opilio clients and candidates. The Executive Search brochure was designed to target prospective clients who are looking to recruit an executive-level position, and the Competency Based Interviews brochure acted as a pre-interview guide for executive-level candidates. We also rolled out a wide range of collateral including letterheads, business cards, CV templates and PowerPoint templates.

As a result of our work, the design and marketing retainer service that we have with the recruitment arm has now been extended to include the executive team.
