Creation Shopfitters are a team of very experienced interior contractors. Over the years, they have worked on many prestigious projects throughout the UK and Europe. The strength of their business emanates from the strong management team, which is very much family run.
New Sales Brochure
We were approached by the client to create a new sales brochure for the sales team to distribute at the Retail Shopfitting & Display Summit. The initial brief was to create a fresh new look that complemented their existing brand. However, once we saw the calibre of clients they had on the books, with the likes of Barbour, Warner Brothers, Primark and Europcar, we felt that the best way of getting new customers through the door was to showcase the work that had been done for these elite clients. The problem was that, although they had a wealth of photography available, there wasn’t any content that explained the process of delivering these projects.
We approached the challenge with a three-stage approach. First, we established a new look and feel for the brochure built around the circles from their logo. This was then developed into a visual language system that was used as a framing device for the client’s photography. Secondly, we created a new proposition statement “Forward Thinking Shopfitters”, as the circles alluded to floating thought bubbles. With this new statement in place, we worked with the marketing team to write the copy for the brochure, including a set of case studies for Barbour, Harriet Kelsall and the Harry Potter shop at Heathrow T5. Finally, we took Creation’s six project stages, from planning through to completion, and created a “one-stop shopfitting” infographic that visualised these stages as a series of icons.
The client was so pleased with the response to the brochure that they commissioned us to create an interactive version that could be used as sales tool to pitch to potential new clients. This was rolled out as an interactive PDF, complete with an easy-to-navigate menu system.
Online Case Studies
After realising the impact that the case studies were having in generating new business, the client approached us to create new content for their website, including 20 new case studies. However, when it came to adding the content to the site, we found that there wasn’t any provision for this in the current website build. As it had only recently been built, there wasn’t budget to create a new one from scratch. Our expert WordPress developer took their existing site and built a new page template within their system, which enabled us to add case studies to the site and then allocate these to their existing sectors, creating a seamless integration. We also repurposed the copy we had written for the brochure and made this SEO-friendly for the website.
We then organised and conducted a social media training session with their marketing department to enable them to promote all of their new web content on their social channels and conduct live tweets at future events.
